Success And Peace Through Education

To move ahead in life sometimes we need one and only one thought. This thought gives you the power to go ahead and achieve your goal. Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi ( Chairman C.T Group Of Institutes, Jalandhar) was searching for his dream and goal in life. He wanted satisfaction and peace of mind in his work.
Charanjit Singh Channi belongs to a very middle class family, and his family was financially very weak and he is brought up in such environment only. Inspite of financial crises he continued with his education. Along with it he learned hand work (embroidery) During his adolescence his father died. Soon after his father’s death, his brother died due of illeness. He didn’t want his mother to suffer at any cost due to all these tragedies in their life. He worked for a short span in Amritsar. Then in 1977, he moved along with his mother to jalandhar, where his grandmother lived. She owned a bakery in jalandhar. Charanjit singh started his embroidery work here.
Everyone has to struggle in life to achieve something. Charanjit singh was living on rent in his house and had a shop on rent too. So he was able to save Rs.200-300. But he wanted to do something which give him peace along with money. He started property dealing business on suggestion of some friends. He started earning good through this business.
He says that he can never forget the deal which he made with six of his friends through which he earned a profit of Rs.40,000. He says that this was the turning point of his life. There was no looking back after this.
Due to this business, he started earning pretty well but the peace in work was missing. During this time he got married to Parminder Kaur and she stood by his side in all good and bad times. His zeal to find peace in his work made him do something in the field of education because he was always interested in learning. He believes that education marks a person’s identity and make him special from others. With this thought he started C.T Public school in 1997. What all he had earned till then, he invested all in the school. He found his peace in this work and continued doing it. Then he established another branch of the school in Shahpur.
He now found his goal of life. Now he moved to the field of higher education. By creating an education society he opened various schools and colleges in the city. He made quality education his motive.
He believes in hard work, punctuality, honesty. No doubt today C.T institutes are providing quality education in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, management and many more. It is a matter of great pride for jalandhar city. No doubt it is playing a significant role in imparting quality education and raising the standard of living of people.
